Note: the following defines the intention for a desirable end-state of the Value Offering. It does not yet exist.

$20k/month Collaborative Production Model

What you get:

• $100/hour for 10-40 hours per month
• Immersion Training on practical skills + Psychology of Transcendence via practical skills
• Liberation from indoctrination on productivity limits of humanity
• Ability to replicate this model, with potential social marketing assistance from OSE
  • Starting with CEB Press, moving to Tractor, CEB Press, CNC Circuit Mill, Hydraulic Power Unit, and others.
• Being part of a high-energy, distributive enterprise movement incubator

What you give:

• 80-95% of your energy for open source economic development (~20 days per month outside of the 5-15% of your time in production runs)

What it takes:

• 500-1000 human hours of enterprise development, shakedown, and optimization
• Developing, documenting, and producing Immersion Training curriculum for the production model
• Another 1000-8000 human hours of Development Time for ancillary equipment (Ironworker Machine, CNC Torch Table, Oxyhydrogen Cutter, CNC Circuit Mill, Welder, Plasma Cutter, Stepper Motor Controller, Inverter, Nickel-Iron Batteries)

Risk Sharing and Responsibility:

• OSE provides social marketing and product design
• Production Director organizes the production run
• Apprentices help in the production run as volunteers
• FeF staff are funded via such production with 5-15% of their time spent in production

Resource Requirements

• 8 workshop bays for 1 day per production run
• 8 people
• Machine pre-order
• 16-24kW of industrial power at one time

Note: Shifting from production run to R&D mode needs to be accomplished readily - such that continuing development can happen. Old workshop may be used in addition to new workshop.
