The approach of OSE is to trace the history of human evolution in terms of building infrastructures from the ground up. This means that we start with primitive technology and evolve from there to modern, appropriate technology. This implies that we will cover all sectors of infrastructure development with focus on low barries, low cost, efficiency - and from there - when basic needs are met, we move on to what people call 'normal.' This is under the assumption that development resources are limited. Wherever possible, we use the most effective methods without being swayed by current vogue. We look into heirloom technology - technology that has been proven to work. We focus on access from local resources.
