2000 Hackerspaces and Makerspaces
Intro
Just like for Fab Labs - there is a large number of hacker/makerspaces in the world. Reach out to them to see if they want to collaborate on bigger problems with buy-in from a good number of them. Viable projects could be initiatives to develop an open source microfactory or open source fab lab, such as Daniele Ingasia or Jens Dyvik, or Dan Meyer are already doing. Or to develop marketable Distributive Enterprise-compliant kits.
