Abundance 101

Abundance starts with physiological needs as in Maslow's Hierarchy - and just as in the pyramid - continues to higher needs. Thus, we start with an end of material scarcity as the core starting point, moving on to abundance in all realms of life: information, purpose, friendships, health, wealth, and wisdom. We cultivate a mindset of 'we' instead of 'me', understanding that we are all in it together. Clearly, collaboration is an important aspect of abundance - as only by caring for the whole picture can we leave nobody behind.

Throughout all of our contracts, we strive for collaborative win-win, increase-the-pie approach. Learning why and how this is possible is a collaborative responsibility.

We study practical means to abundance to deliver self-actualization and self-realization.

A unique feature of the OSE program is that it functions like life insurance as a perk. This is not the typical life insurance - but learned responsibility that results in abundant though revocable privilege. The privilege refers to access to the productive infrastructure of the alma mater. Initially, this would be highly localized, but with time, as widespread replication occurs - more people are able to benefit from guaranteed basic assets. With privilege comes responsibility - to continue to learn and steward the resource base of technology and natural resources from which all wealth arises. This is in the form of access to all production, with a 50-50 share agreement for the productivity as a baseline. This baseline may be up to 100% to the agent - depending on the agreement. The agreement is the social security contract that is being developed at OSE - meaning that you have to have real, productive knowhow - in a broad sense - to produce and to benefit. Naturally, a completely unskilled person cannot direct production.

We learn abundance, and provide access to abundance stock after graduation for ever, pending upkeep of certification. This certification changes as our techniques evolve, so this certification is timely and must be maintained. The nature of this relationship is collaborative win-win.

Certification means demonstrated skills - mindset, thoeretical, skill set, productive ability - to redeem substance of abundance. This is a rigorous requirement - requiring discipline and an interest in making life better for everyone.

This includes natural, biological, and technological resources that can be replicated at the cost of one's participation. For example, propagating nursery stock from a living nursery, or replicating machines in the material production and fab lab facilities.

Maintenance

In order for this to work operationally, there must be a low-maintenance or stigmergic infrastructure that allows this. Low maintenance and overhead can be achieved if the resource infrastructures are based on abundant feedstocks and do not take much extra effort to maintain over what already exists as part of living and working infrastructures of the Campus or facility. We are in the framework of the OSE Campus. To allow low maintenance:

• Living and nursery stock - living landscape affords zero-effort ability to propagate stock. Such as by cuttings or seeds. Swarm Breeding is utilized to generate non-terminator, sexually propagated stock.
• Digital fabrication - source code is maintained as part of operations, and it is freely available. Skill set is required. Any off-hours or down time of facilities can be utilized.
• Bank - can produce known values based on production data related to transparent infrastructure. Thus, a safe currency coining can be say 10% of one's capacity. For example, if one has a $1M-production capacity infrastructure - one can coin $100k if one can avail 10% production time or otherwise back the currency.
• Materials - wood, rock, plastic, glass, and metal are abundant in the waste stream. Automated harvesting is done through drones.
• Agriculture - one can set up various RTK GPS, CV, AI operations pending access to a a Power Cube, solar or fuel based. Biomass harvest is possible and unlimited.
• Quality Improvement - drastic enhancement of infrastructure productivity can occur - 2x-10x by investing in productive excellence. For example, Mycelium Irrigation can allow one to coin value if helping a producer to double their crop.
