Arduino-Rasberry Pi Connection Sheild/Hat

From Open Source Ecology

Basics

  • A Sheild for the Arduino or a Hat For the Raspberry Pi that connects the two
  • Either by the serial ports, or some other protocol and port
  • The Combination of Arduino and Raspberry Pi is a powerful combination, too much for some projects, but if lots of ports (Especially analog) AND processing power is needed, it is the best thing next to a Custom SOC PCB
  • Most Connections Seem to Be either Custom Wires, or Simply adapting sheilds for one to the other; not connecting the two devices
