Ie, that which would otherwise be proprietary trade secrets, patents, and otherwise fuel that startup keep to themselves in order to create Scarcity-Based Business Models.
And "bravely" refers to having transcended the Scarcity Mindset, meaning having no reptilian brain survival response for sharing one's best freely.
Authentic Sharing is exactly this - the sharing of the authentic cutting edge.
Note that many scientific publications today are plagued by conflict of interest, defined as private companies funding R&D. The implication is that authentic sharing is not happening - the publication needs to dance around proprietary trade secrets. It does not lead to Creation of Genius, and certainly not to the Collaborative Creation of Genius.
