Measure, mark, pilot drill, and drill the shaft hole, match drilling into the shaft block underneath.

Clamp a Shaft Block, oriented to drill the stopper hole.

Measure, mark, drill, counterbore, and tap the stopper hole.

Shaft Blocks to Swivel Plate

Clamp the Shaft Blocks to the Swivel Plate's rear, such that their outer faces along the shaft axis are less than 130mm and also that the shaft blocks are approximately parallel to the Swivel Plate's faces.

Insert the Shaft into the Shaft Blocks for alignment.

Tack weld and weld the Shaft Blocks to the Swivel Plate.

Threaded Rod

Clamp the Base Plate to the table.

Place the Swivel Plate on top of the Base Plate and align the swivel holes by inserting the Short Threaded Rod into the swivel holes of the Swivel Plate and Base Plate.

Clamp the Swivel Plate to the Base Plate.

Clamp the Short Threaded Rod so as to facilitate welding the Short Threaded Rod to the Swivel Plate from the top, with a small gap from the top surface.

Tack weld and weld the Short Threaded Rod to the Swivel Plate.
