Convert Carport SH3D to FreeCAD

  • Task type - admin, file manipulation and export
  • Task:
  1. Take the SH3D file for the carport - [1]
  2. Export as a set of individual files via bulk export of OBJ files. To do this, make a working copy of the google slides document found at top of [2]
  3. Study the doc and make notes on the doc, and edit the doc if anything is inaccurate.
  4. Follow the procedure in the doc to end up with a FreeCAD file, with all the individual parts - with the same names as the parts in the original Sweet Home 3D document.
