  • Implement Trinamic drivers
  • Optimize geometry for print volume - increase size as needed to gain exactly 8x8" of print area, and make this frame size an option for laser cutter and CNC circuit mill.
  • Determine range of motion via CAD to determine practicality
  • Do complete CAD
  • Laser cut electronics mounting board
  • Put a boot on the extruder heater
  • Implement nonlinear bed correction
  • Optimize bed mounting for heat resistance - kapton tape may work without adding one extra part to part count
  • Motor piece can be truncated to allow for more space on the x and y axes, thereby allowing a 13" frame to suffice for an 8" bed. This is useful for small size printers.
