I'm a french engineer installed in Guatemala and developing a local low cost biogas plant to use all the organic waste and shit that is currently thrown in the rivers, in order to produce energy. My colleague has built is own distillery for essential oil extraction, doing many of his machines himself.

We are really interested in your project, as the modularity and DIY aspect is a philosophy that we already have in heart and really see all the potential that open source ecology has, especially here in Guatemala where people are very good with machines and making things work.

We are interested in actually developing a few of the machines you have in your list, (bulldozer, steam engine,wind mill, 3D printer, bioplastic extruder...) because we NEED them, and take part in the design process and BUILDING some first prototype and take part in all the open access publishing.
