  • Structure is used to lift and lower the head to height using Space Frames, with the head asssembly riding to the top with the tower as rail.
  • Un-guyed, space frame tower - 60'-100' high, or 3-5 sections

Industry Standards

  • ANew Wind Turbines makes 15, 200, and 1500 kW VAWTs [2]. The 1500 kW version is apparently the largest VAWT available in the world.
