His credits for independent and student work include producing videos for the R.O. Ranch Equestrian Park, the Suwannee River Water Management District in Florida, and Green Opportunities; direction and videography for Blue Ridge Brew, about the booming brewing industry in Asheville, NC; director of photography for a television spot on sustainable housing technologies in the DC metropolitan area called Tomorrow’s Homes Today. He also is expert in still photography, with event photography credits for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Center for Heir's Property (SC), and MEDO, an indigenous lead economic development organization in Soloy, Panama. He has also been trained in Digital Storytelling, an innovative new form of documentary production which places technically proficient documentarians in a facilitator role to enable individuals to tell their own stories regarding their lives, experiences, and issues which affect them. In addition to media production, he has also worked as a research assistant on an interdisciplinary team from the Georgia Institute of Technology that is investigating methods to enhance public opinion data gathering and broadcast presentation using experimental mobile surveys and tabletop computing, during which he completed IRB certification through Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). Most recently he assisted in preliminary video documentation for a wetland restoration project at Tidmarsh Farms in Manomet, MA in conjunction with the Living Observatory (www.tidmarshfarms.com).
