Eventbrite Alternatives

• Eventbrite costs a total of 5%+ - 3% for PayPal and 2% itself for nonprofits. That is a hefty tax.
• Eventzilla charges $1.25 per registration only, but limited to 3 ticket types, and you select your payment method. Much better. But it also include PayPal as an option. To save on PayPal fees, we can take cash, or go to Top Merchant Services which appear to cost 1.6% instead of the PayPal 3%. Whichever way, these percentages are significant parasitic losses, so the best option would be an option that doesn't carry a charge, such as check, cash, cryptocurrency, or OSE currency.

Eventbrite Questions

• For 100% discount tickets - does Eventbrite still charge its service fee?

• Appears to be no - as it doesn't make sense to charge a service fee for a free ticket - think of a customer getting a free ticket buy paying a service fee?
• And what about payment processing fee? That should likewise apply only to cash collected, not 'listed price'.
