2024 has been a wild ride. As we close it out, we’re excited to share a little spark of hope – our end of year Impact Report. All around the world, TED Fellows (you!) are driving impact, advancing peace, safeguarding new technology and bolstering conservation, health, social justice, the arts and so much more. The work each and everyone of you is doing is truly inspiring!
This was a year of many firsts for the program: we shifted to a nomination-based application cycle, launched TED Fellows Films, and expanded our reach globally. But one development we’re particularly proud of: we created a new way to measure the breadth and depth of meaningful collaborations across our network.
In our annual survey, we dug into that more deeply - and mapped out the connections you all created with each other. Take a look at this rich network of formal and informal partnerships, cutting across regions, disciplines and cohorts. Huge shout out to TED Fellow Eric Berlow, for visualizing this all so beautifully!
We’re also thrilled to share that Fellows profile pages are officially live on the TED Fellows directory on our new website! We encourage you to take a moment to review your profile page and to update it if needed. To help, we’ve created a short + sweet training video with step-by-step instructions on how to make updates to your profile page.
We will be taking some time off between holidays and are out of the office from December 23 - January 6 to bake cookies, rest and rejuvenate. We hope you all take some time off as well and we wish you a happy healthy holiday!
