Careful about deleting, it seems that deleting from your device can delete from the cloud in certain cases.

This should not happen if photos are backed up in the cloud. Apparently Google Photos pictures are backed up on Google Drive. [1]

Check: erased DJI videos from Nov 1, so only 4 videos from Nov 1 are still on my device. Will they stay on the google photos? Yes, they are still there.
