- 20 microns layer height resolution, consistently achievable - is the highest - with Ultimaker and 0.4mm nozzle. Note that resolution is only 60 micron with 0.25 mm nozzle, which is a reflection of the Bowden design (long extruder to head distance)
- Rest including Prusa and Lulzbot are at 50 microns.
- Question - if positioning accuracy is 10 microns at current 16 microstepping + RAMPS, maximum resolution can be down to 10 microns.
