Ivy Leagues

  • An ivy league degree is worth about $30k more ($86k) than a regular degree for individuals with 3 years of work experience. [1]. This figure may be misleading because this does state straight-out-of college salary, nor does it say how many people look for a job in the first place.
  • Average salary for ivy league grads is $64k [2] acc to Zip Recruiter
  • Ivy league grads do not start out higher than other college grads, but over time, they end up making almost double the non-ivy league salary. [3]. This implies a higher capacity to learn, while straight out of college, you have no practical skills and thus equal pay. Lesson: OSE promises practical and applied skill sets. But, Harvard starting income is 50-70k, which is lower than $76k household income mean (household means multiple earners, so not a fair comparison)
