- I then attached non-copper wires with high-heat sleeves to the nichrome ends, and then wrapped the connections with silver wrapping wire. After that, I used another piece of the same fiberglass material used for the core, and worked it onto the element as a sleeve. This was much easier than I thought would be, because when you push on the sleeve, it expands in diameter. - [1]
