Hydraulic Pump Sizing

• LifeTrac II uses a .677 cu in pump for both 18 hp Power Cubes
• LifeTrac III uses a .976 cu in pump for the 27 hp Power Cube

Notes:

• With a pump larger than .677, the 5000 lb gross weight LifeTrac begins to stall going up steep inclines.
• The .976 cu in pump drives this motor only up to 1730 rpm in a test run with a 27 hp Power Cube, so I got a smaller motor - [1] - in order to drive a 24 kW 1800 rpm 3-phase generator.
