Inspirational Source

Based on an extension of Useful Source concept. Refers to inspiring conceptual design that appears to be open source design, but which is actually closed source technical design. Therefore, Inspiring Source does not constitute Useful Source in terms of replicability or economic significance.

Example: Polydome - inspiring concept of greenhouse polyculture including a 100 page freely downloadable publication, but the technical designs and database they are currently developing are proprietary. Reference: phone conversation on 4/2/15 with Albertien Perdok, Program Manager - MJ.
