The concept is to set up an infrastructure for on-demand, web-based printing for anyone who has a 3D printer and an internet connection. The goal is to set up a turnkey package that anyone can install to convert their personal 3D printer into an online business.
The 3D printer owner becomes a small entrepreneur. This would be good for social enterprise funding.
Platform includes uploading and vetting 3D print files for printability, and printing on a remote 3D printer, with a webcam that shows progress. The only responsibility of the 3D printer owner is to take the print off the base, and ship it, in an envelope where the label has been printed automatically.
This is one of the perks that people who come to our 3D Printer build workshops can attain.
