But today A) religious institutions no longer focus on this area, and B) we know a great deal more about the mechanics and dynamics of humanness, and it actually is possible to achieve a certain level of “retail” enlightenment. And, all things being equal, a person is better off having some enlightenment than none, better off having explored who they are as a being versus not."
