Goals: My goals for this project are to gain experience in the entire process of designing, fabricating, and testing a new prototype of the LifeTrac. I would like to learn this in such a way as to be able to teach others and aid in the upcoming collaboration with Berea College on a similar project. An important part of this process will be developing my skills in documentation and design so that the plans are easily communicable in an open source format. I will be exploring options in the design related to alternative power sources, articulation, dozer blade attachments, metal wheels, and a wheel drive gearing unit, as well as any other issues that arise during the design process.
