Basics
- This page goes over the process of modifying (Usually existing Cordless devices that use a non-removable battery) devices to utilize an external, replaceable, Cordless Tool Battery Pack
Mounting
- OTS Power Tool Battery to OSE Standard Adapter + Attached 3D Printed Conformal Mount or alternately a Conformal 3D Printed Mount
Electrical Conversions
- Ryobi offers an 18v, and 40v Battery Pack
- Milwakee Tools offers 12v, 18, and some higher power "fuel" batter (probably akin to the Ryobi 40v)
- Determine what the device uses, do your Ohm's Law / Voltage Divider calculations, and you are good to go

- A Video by the YouTube Channel "GreatScott!" Titled "Every Device should have this Upgrade! (Endless Battery Run Time)" ( ~10 Minute Watch ) (Goes over their modification of a cheap "dust buster" to use Makita batteries. They used an OTS Power Tool Battery to Wire Adapter and Welded that to the side, chucked some electronics into the cavity where the board+motor already was, and it was good to go)
