OSEEF Charter
Open Source Ecology Europe Foundation (OSEEF) is chartered for the purpose of furthering the Open Source Ecology (OSE) Mission in the US and in Europe (represented by OSE Europe). The OSE Mission is the creation of an open society, where everybody's needs are met, and where everybody has access to information, material productivity, and just governance systems - such that human creativity is unleashed, for all people.
OSEEF provides funding for OSE US and OSE Europe. OSE US decides independently how to allocate the US funds. OSEEF decides independently how to allocate the European funds to further the goals of OSE Europe: promotion, development and education of OSE concepts including the Global Village Construction Set (GVCS) technologies, open source hardware, sustainable agriculture, natural building, renewable energy, distributive enterprises, abundance based economies, local chapters and open source communities and lifestyle.
OSEEF Governance
OSE Europe Foundation is lead and run by a 6 person council and an US Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The US CTO allocates the US Funding. The council allocates the funding for OSE Europe by simple majority. Funding allocation takes place when needed or at the end of each month. The president of the council will chair the monthly meetings and determine the agenda.
