Based on the Noun Project, here are icons for OSE. The types of icons include:

  1. Fabrication Steps (could also double up as granular Badges)
  2. Components of machines.

Social Technology

  • Make contest open to public.
  • Rules: generate your own icons or get them from elsewhere with attribution
  • Check with Noun Project leadership regarding branding on OSE Icons - whether they should go to the Noun Project or to OSE.
  • Define required symbols, spawn audience.
  • Audience upvotes selections for the best icon. icon set stabilizes over time - icon contest is closed after a certain period.
