OSE Tractor Vision
At $300/kw, the prospect of nickel-iron powered tractors is attractive. Hybrids with part gas and part solar operation are attractive - especially as the battery pack can be utilized at 48V for plug-in to grid - meaning in the daytime the tractor can be used - and its battery bank is the storage bank for a facility. Such sharing of power would make borrowing the battery bank for use quite attractive.
For $20k, we can now get 60kWhr batteries that last a lifetime, which makes them attractive from the circular economy perspective.
Combine this with remote control, autonomous control, and computer vision - the tractor becomes a very high value proposition.
