- Is a part of the Open Source Watercraft Construction Set
- Used for the anchoring of 1 small to large personal watercraft, or 1 small commercial watercraft
- Can also be used for hurricane protection (due to only a single point of failure it is much safer than most docks)
- Can also be known as hurricane holes for the aforementioned reason
