Open Source Contract Community Model

The basic model for an OSE Campus is that of a democratic, open source culture, training facility for Distributive Enterprise. The basic problem statement revolves around stewarding resources while making a living - not only stewarding resources but making the location and the world better over time. As such, the Campus is much like a University campus - with elements of education, production, and cultural/scientific advancement where people on campus have a chance to become whole as interacted humans. This is similar to the early Bauhaus goals of making hukans whole at the beginning to feel the 20th century, as a response to an industrial age which left people fragmented as.individuals.

The deep question remains - what is the economic model by which such a community can function? How do we guarantee the pursuit of self-determination, mastery, and relatedness in such a community? How do such communities grow throughout the world, when the concentration of power and degeneration of natural ecosystems typical of the industrial economy makes this difficult?
