Open Source Small Camera Boom

Basics

• Probably one of the more directly applicable devices along with the Open Source Tripod and the Open Source Overhead Camera Rig
• Useful for weird shots, especially in a unique area such as if videoing something in the garage and other areas not too friendly for filming easily (IE not some sort of desk type shot)

Minimum Viable Product

• Mounts on the Open Source Tripod
• Able to be used via mechanical means, or attach motors to automate it
• Modular
• Able to handle heavy cameras

Basic Design

Screw Mount Plate

• Drill and tap a hole to the standard screw mount thread
• Do this on a metal plate for making a stable base
