Open Standards

There are numerous engineering, design, and performance standards and bodies across the globe. The ideal goal is to provide max performance in the most accessible way. Excessive numbers of standards which do not agree with, are contradictory, obfuscated, or are inconsistent with one another - are contradictory to the purpose of standard. Further, non-accessible standards such as standards behind a paywall - are a ridiculous concept that defeats the transparency that standards could provide.

OSE is all for open, collaborative standard sets that deliver transparency, guidance, clarity, and appropriateness of technology applied across all sectors.
