Special regulations aimed at Eliminating the risk of an incedent resulting in an Oil Spill etc are required by the Coast Guard et al

Main Things

At least one PIC (Person in Charge) Trained Operator + All Your Regulatory Paperwork Ducks in a Row
Large (20lb if i remember correctly) Fire Extinguisher + No Smoking/Open Lights Sign Out
Secondary Containment Around the Connections On Shore (Think Sausage Boom + Drip Pans Mainly)
Stay by the Shutoff+Be in Contact+Aware
Tape and/or Pin any Cam Lock fittings on hoses etc so they don’t come loose and spew schlop all over the ecosystem
NEVER leave a fitting between hose sections dangling over the water, either have it fully on shore or fully on the vessel, this way even if anything happens it os containable
Have your gear on good working order (+ Hydrostatic Testing of Hoses and Hose Log etc)
