PitStop Extruder
Basics
- A Toolchanger for FDM 3D Printers designed by MihaiDesigns
- It is currently in it's second version
- The entire Hotend + Nozzle + Filament Path is removable via a latch and electrical connections via Pogo Pins
- This can be used as a Manual Toolchanger , although the Kinematics are optimized to an extent for the MotorSwap Toolchanger they are also developing.
Versions
V1
- Made for Prusa MK3 printers, or similar forks such as the Prusa Bear
- Mainly is used for easy access to the Filament Path rather than full toolchanging
V2
- The Current Design being developed alongside the MotorSwap Toolchanger
