Possible business models that could arise from OSE
While the entire GVCS is developed there are many opportunities for entrepreneurs that use the OSE knowledge base and contribute to it.
- A CNC Torch cutting business
- A brick business
- A CEB Press rental business
- A business that sells and rents GVCS machines
Business ecologies could be built around many of the individual machines in the GVCS. There is a significant market for custom machined steel parts. Using the CNC Torch Table an entrepreneur could offer cutting services.
Another business model could revolve solely around the CEB Press which could either sell bricks directly, or rent the actual CEB Press machines. Allowing renters to use local soil to build their homes and then return the CEB press.
Yet another business could be focused around the fabrication of all GVCS machines, renting and selling entire machines.
All of these micro businesses would intrinsically contribute to Open Source Ecology, through product testing, design improvements, and project publicity.
