Basics:

  • used in Auroville for all kinds of buildings (up to 4 floors high).
  • soil is excavated, sieved, then sand added
  • 5 % by weight of cement (500 litres soil + 200 litres sand = 1 bag cement, 50 Kg)
  • start ramming
