Request and Offer Protocol

To motivate collaboration, it is useful to be clear about the interests of each side - in terms of what each side is offering and what each side would like to gain in return. To facilitate this, we ask questions that make the motivations and incentives clear for each side. When incentives, motivation, and reward is clear - a project has a higher chance of success in terms of generating open IP and funding the same. Just the part of understanding what someone has to offer may be used to leverage funding of that knowledge transfer. This is the essence of the type of technology transfer that OSE wants to engage in - to generate resources to support IP Rescue towards the benefit of all.
