Reversing the Extreme Enterprise
For the Seed Home 2-based Extreme Enterprise, there are several Enterprise Reversal points that can be used. All of these should emphasize collaborative development, where the Forum, wiki, and other collaboration tools are used.
- Hackathon - The value is the reward of collaborating meaningfully in a large-scale design process that achieves results more profound than any enterprise to date. Onboarding course is 4 hours of exquisitely-refined training with the full OSE Linux v2 suite.
- House Build for Owner Builders - Clients pay us to teach them to build a house, tapping an equivalent $100/hr value stream because that is how much typical labor would cost for a much more complex house. Our key is designing something that is easier to build. Right now we estimate that the build time is 224 hours when the product is perfected. (one full week (7 days) with 2 people + 2x this for build prep). That comes out to $22k for labor - which is still cheap even if a value of $100/hr is considered! And, the person can outsource this for $5600 if a person is paid $25/hr! Achieving this value would be a major milestone.The training is a social, learning, productive time. The savings from that learning are profound.
- House Construction - Tech school track. A Builder-in-Training possibly pays for building the house if the house build constitutes a meaningful, effective, efficient learning opportunity. Value of build training is $5000 (around 200 hours, at $25/hr). If we couple this with enterprise training and oodles of technical skill we can sell this as a technical education school for about $5k. See Carpentry Tuition. This can include significant support in webinars and other Clickfunnel products that are valuable to the builder, such as a steady stream of leads. This way, we will have paid for a build while training someone at the same time. This could be a good summer job opportunity for college students who want to get practical skills, or for trades school students. The unique value is that you buy into a collaborative community.
- Build Customization - customizing the build to a given site. Automate most of this with Blender, FreeCAD, spreadsheets. Export to IFC. At the same time, this is an opportunity to train architects, then hire them to do this work very efficiently at $100/hr. This would be a longer course for full IFC capacity.
