  • $1/sf [1] on pavers
  • Concrete 10 yard was enough for SH2 - 500 sf - or 50 sf/yard. This comes out to $3/sf.
  • Portland cement - $130/ton [2] and
  • Mudmixer
  • 5 bags Portland per yard of concrete.
  • Portland - 93 lb for $16.50
  • M5 is 750 PSI, M10 (1:10) is 1450 psi. M20 is 2900 PSI [3]
  • M10 for house slab [4]. Probably not. Official word is M20+. To use 750 PSI material or less requires one to actually know what they are doing.
    • For example, in extended compacted gravel foundations, with uniformity key - then the load of a house say with 100 psf roof loads and 40 psf for all live + structure loads - we have on a 1000 sf house - 140,000 lb of force we need to hold. As long as we prevent frost heave - we have: 60 sf of walls - 16 psi on the walls. Thus, why do we need 3000 PSI concrete?
  • $5/bag makes it to 45 80 lb bags or 1 yard at $225/yard, while cement takes it to $17*5 bags= $75/yard+$20/yd=$100/yard - saves you 33% and timing from $150/sf normal costs. Save $50/yard for Mudmixer.
