The autonomous republic in general may want to invest in improved intergenerational relationships, such that the burden is not taxation but care of elders in their old age by their families. OSE proposes cultivating elders as wisepeaple who cntribute to their communities. This would require a healthy diet, exercise, and good sleep as a foundation ,o that people improve with age, as opposed to degenerating. Communities should build in space for elders to be the village elders as in indigenous societies. The OSE Campus lends itself to such a function.
