Sodium Acetate
Basics
- The sodium salt of Acetic Acid
- reacting Aqueous Acetic Acid with Sodium Hydroxide produces this
- It is often used as a Phase Change Material in re-usable heating pads
- This may be adaptable to a closed loop meta-stable Thermal Storage system?
- IE not dehydrating + rehydrating something
- This may be adaptable to a closed loop meta-stable Thermal Storage system?
- Also supposedly has a use case as a Concrete Sealant , in Vulcanizing Chloroprene Synthetic Rubber , and as a componet of some Photoresists
- Needs Verification
