Speaking Negotiations
We need to discuss general terms:
1. Speaker Fee negotiation. This varies. Benedictine College paid $5k. U. MO Columbia paid $3k through a student group. Normally it's $1500 for someone's time. I suggest we request $5k, or more if they have deep pockets. I would like you to get good at such negotiation.
2. Travel naturally should be covered.
3. If possible - design for a single day: leaving at the crack of dawn.
4. Accept only if there is a strong stekeholder who is offering internship students, thesis students, summer and break students, special volunteer programs students, Design Sprint participants, etc. Meeting some spe
