Subtleties of Scarcity Thinking

  1. Yes but I'm developing hardware for your organization, and you are keeping it.

First, OSE does Distributive Enterprise Development, as taught through its training on Non-Scarcity Enterprise Models. This means that any agent who chooses to take on the enterprise has a high likelihood of startup success because the full enterprise model is already available. This means that for a given amount of effort, the reward is significantly greater because the amount of wealth that can be generated from a working enterprise is greater than the individual effort to develop the enterprise. This is true for any productive business model. This is under the assumption that the agent can execute on the enterprise model - requiring the usual forms of risk-taking, grit, and problem-solving. Thus, the question is not whether an enterprise can work or be profitable - as that will have already been demonstrated with the successfully developed Distributive Enterprise. The real question is - is the agent willing to engage in the details of execution that are required to redeem the value of the enterprise.

Thus, to summarize - any individual who is collaborating on OSPD gets a potentially equivalent value out of the effort - pending their individual initiative after the product is prototyped. Thus, training the individuals to recognize this mentalosel is the key to engaging with a large developer community for the development of exonomically-signidicant products. The barriers are irrational. A mental model update is the solution. The important question becomes how to help one achieve this mental model transformation. OSE's solution is to provide support in successful startup with all resources from design to business to capital to legal. This is known as Open Source Enterprise Coddling with reference to the effort required for a Cognitive Override of a scarcity mindset. In principle, such override can be brought about if inserted into a formal training or education program. The psychological aspect is emphasized here because of the importance of transcending the reptilian brain's operation based on fear.

In this paradigm - the critical aspect is allowing for sufficient resources to be available so that development can be taken to completion in a timely way.
