Sulfurized Paper
Basics
- It probably was just a local term and/or translation error/oddity, but this came up in the Precious Plastic Discord as someone was experimenting to see if it worked as a Release Agent
- It seems like Wax Paper but Sulfur Vulcanized ?
- More complexity to add to the petrochemicals web i guess rather than just Paraffin Wax
Internal Links
- Leatheroid / Vulcanized Fiber seem to be related/identical (albeit potentially outdated/historical terminology)

- Mentions using Vulcanized Fiber (which seems to be Cotton Rag derived paper, densified via a Solvent and Pressing Process (Traditionally Zinc Chloride although alternatives can be used supposedly?) and “Mineral Acid” (asuming this means Sulfuric Acid hence the “vulcan” in vulcanization as is the case for Rubber Vulcanization
