What is the TN Visa
The TN Visa is non-dual intent (cannot have immigration in mind), temporary (lasting up to 3 years), infinitely renewable, and quota-less (unlimited issuances per year).
The TN Visa grants TN Status to a citizen of Mexico, Canada, or United States who has been employed by a a business or non-profit organization within a country of non-citizenship (Mexico, Canada, or US).
TN Status allows a citizen to stay within the country of non-citizenship for a period of time.

Preparation
Process
Request TN Visa at the country of non-citizenship's port of entry. If traveling by ground, the port of entry is at the border; if by air, at either the departure or arrival airport.
Show your prepared documents and be ready to answer various questions regarding employment and intentions. Keep in mind that the TN Visa is NOT dual-intent.
