The Long View
First, everybody on planet leapfrogs to modern standard of living. All poverty and wars - the central issues of centralized ecoomies - are ended, and each refugee camp becomes prime real estate like Manhattan or Silicon Valley, as prosperity can be had with local resources. Deprived areas rise from the ashes, from reservations to inner cities, as universal access to education and peak performance (best practices, good food, health) allows everyone to pursue autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
At this point larger issues of corruption begin to dissolve. Large and central institutions give way to more adabtable and flexible, distributed counterparts. People begin to normalize pursuit of autonomy, mastery, and purpose past the digital age: in the age of understanding of the nature of thought. First, there was the Ag revolution, then the Industrial Revolution, then the Digital Age, now the age of thought.
