Welcome to the world of collaborative design. Over the last decade, we designed and built tons of open source industrial machines and published the plans on the internet for free. We taught hundreds - to build themselves - and build their world. We also innovated on distributed enterprise models, based on collaborative design - for a transparent and inclusive economy of abundance.

We are now nearing prime time, so that our methods can scale. We have a product release of the 3D printer, and our next release is the Seed Eco-Home. This September, we are returning to full-scale on-site action and life after COVID.

We are starting our first ever 3 month immersion training program - for Seed Eco-Home builders, and enterprise players. We are offering a program like tech school for hard skills, with an enterprise option - where you can learn to run swarm build crews. This is part of a larger summer program - the Summer of Extreme Design and Build - which also involves designer training and supporting machines.

Did you ever want to design and build something, but did not know where to start? Do you want to change the world - by rebuilding it from the beginning? Do you want to do highly collaborative work - for a living? This is your chance to build, engage, grow, unjob, and help others. If you want to become a builder, we'll hire you. If you want to start a construction business, or just want to build your own house - this is a chance to learn this - in the most effective way possible.

We want to solve housing, AND involve you in it. Training dozens of builders and team players - means hundreds of houses built - as a result of the program. In the process, we intend to place collaborative development - on the map - as a historic - economic milestone. Open is obvious and inevitable in the digital age - already demonstrated by open source software. We'd like to translate this - to hardware.

Our next steps are training dozens of Seed Eco-Home builders, and in the process - to spread this to the world - run the largest hackathon in human history - leveraging the meaningful contributions of thousands. The idea is to write a comprehensive design guide - which we call the Seed Eco-Home Extreme Enterprise Manual - that allows anyone to build any - of a wide range of houses. Our work is based on modular design, with proven, tested modules - that can all be captured as digital models. This year we're doing light frame construction - with materials for a 1000 sf home at around fifty thousand. Next year we plan to add the Compressed Earth Brick (CEB) house option, and significant amount of post-consumer, 3d printed materials. For this year - that means that you will be able to build a 1000sf house with a friend in one week for $50k. That is our promise - land and legal not included. But since most people will likely just want to have a house built - that's the reason - why we are training builders, and building capacity to provide a house as a custom builder.

The 3 month summer program is for builders, designers - movers, and shakers. But if you just want a home - we offer a 2-week, hands-on crash course. We go through everything from foundation and polished concrete floors to the roof and PV. This is intended to prepare you fully - for a full build from start to finish - if you would like to. We can offer a using a drop shipped package, with build support. It's all open source, our bills of materials and build procedures - so you can apply as needed. And if you are really short of time, but still want to experience house building - we have a 5 day extreme build option. This is where we swarm on a house build with 50+ people - using our collaborative, parallel build method. We've done this with our prototype in 2016 - and now we have product. And if you the entrepreneur - the 3 months offers - an enterprise night school. We discovered that Extreme Build techniques work - and offer 10x compression of build time. We can teach you to do exactly that - so that the standard 6 month build schedule can be compressed to only a few weeks. The time is right, as the housing shortage is high right now.

This is an invitation to you - to join the crew. Our house model is efficient and eco, with super energy efficiency, many Living Home Challenge features, and a standard off-grid option. Open source is better faster stronger - simply because it distributes more value. And once any open source product is born, it gets to improve - forever. Here is your chance - to join the ranks of collaborative immortals. We're looking for a person to run an operation in each state as a start, as we learn to replicate OSE education/production campus operations across the world. If you have a growth mindset - collaborate and bring this to life with us - as you transform your notions of possibility, while bringing opportunity to those around you. Build yourself, help others, and change the world.

(Intro). Welcome to the world of collaborative design. Over the last decade, (marcin) we designed and built (stream of machines) dozens of open source industrial machines and published the plans on the internet for free (wiki scroll). We also innovated on houses (video) and aquaponic greenhouses (video). We taught hundreds of people to build themselves - and build their world. We've been innovating on distributed enterprise models, and large-scale collaborative development technques to liberate people from competitive waste and toil.

We are now nearing prime time, so that our methods can scale large - with industrial productivity on a small scale. We have done a product release of our 3D printers, and our current work focuses on the Seed Eco-Home - to make affordable ecological housing widely accessible. This September, we are returning to full on-site action - life after COVID - stronger and better than any time prior. And we invite you to collaborate with us - to solve housing.

We are starting our first ever 3 month immmersion training for house builders and entrepreneurs. We actually have 3 different tracks - one which is like a crash tech school for builders - another for building entrepreneurs who learn to run swarm build crews - and the third track is about machine design/build - for machines of construction and industry.

Did you ever want to design and build something, but did not know where to start? Do you want to learn how to design - anything that you dream of? Do you want to change the world - by building it from scratch? Do you want to do highly collaborative work - for a living? If you want to become a builder, start a construction business, or just want to build your own house - in the most efficient and effective way possible - then this program may be for you.

We are doing a few things here to solve housing. One, we are training builders and entrepreneurs. Two - we are creating jobs. We are also hiring graduates of the 3 month builder or entrepreneurship training (see Builder Qualifications). This means hundreds, or ideally, thousands of houses built as a result of this program over the following year. In the process, we intend to place collaborative development of open source products as a viable method of development. This is obvious, as demonstrated by open source software - but so far this has not been translated into the world of hardware.

To address this, our next steps are to train dozens of Seed Eco-Home builders, hire them, and in the process, run the largest hackathon in human history - leveraging the meaningful contributions of thousands of people over one weekend. The idea is to write a comprehensive design guide that allow anyone to build any of a wide range of house models based on our modular build system. This year we're doing light frame construction - where materials for a 1000 sf home are around $50k. Next year we plan to release a product build with CEBs. For this year - that means that you will be able to build a 1000sf house with a friend in one week for $50k. That is our promise. Land and legal is not included.

The 3 month summer program is for builders, but if you just want an integrated crash course on Seed Eco-Home construction - you can take our 2-week, on-site crash course where we go through everything from foundation and polished concrete floors to the roof and PV. This is intended to prepare you fully to build a house on your own using our open source and free build docs. And, if you just want to see what a full build takes - you can also participate in a 5 day course - which are the last 5 days of the 2 week program - where we swarm on a house build with 50 people using our collaborative, parallel build techniques. We've done this with our prototype in 2016- and now we have product. We want this to be a part of the solution for housing - and if you are entrepreneurial - we have a concurrent enterprise night school during the 3 month hands on training - where you can learn to run crews, using the same rapid group build methods.

This is an invitation to you - to join - as once an open source product is created, it lives for ever. So go ahead. Become immortal.

The Possibility

Marcin Rev 2

The world of possibility.

All pressing world issues are solvable. That’s not an opinion, or intended to be provocative, it’s our belief… our truth. We believe, without question - that these grave challenges - which are also known as the 17 Sustainable Development Goals formulated by the UN – will be solved through a new economic system that works for everyone everywhere. An economic system built upon and dependent on open collaborative design. We know that this new economic system will yield - as it comes to life - a historic transfer of wealth from the few to the many, the end of the incentives in our current economic systems that have the predictable outomes of war, poverty, corruption - set in our institutions as structural evil. Most people are still at the basic survival level and governed by scarcity thinking. The belief that ‘In order for me to win, someone has to lose.’ Even in the West, most people are not finding fulfillment in their jobs and are either in a constant state of looking for another job or resigned acceptance of what they have, which is not satisfaction or fulfillment.

Prosperity for all - is the promise of an economic system rooted in collaborative design. Prosperity starts with material prosperity. If we simply reinvent the entire infrastructure of civilization towards the common good, we will get rid of all the structural decay that continuously results in broken institutions. We know what the problems are - but what to do? We are not equipped with the tools - to solve broken institutions - so we have to invent them.

We simply redesign everything. From products to institutions. Not for today, but for always.

Yeah, right, how do we shift the 100T economy overnight? By collaboration purposefully. A new pattern that works can replicate virtually today. It does take a certain amount of effort to invent something new. A system that - instead of benefitting a few disproportionately - benefits the majority by design. (we need to make a clear case here for how collaborative, open, distributed enterprise benefits all - with some specific, poignant examples) It will only take $10M or so per invention.

There are only so many fundamental hardware products. Like 50-500. So, 500*10M is $5B. Then there are all the institutions. That’s another $5B. We can redesign society for $10B and change scarcity to prosperity and contraction to growth.

The insight is that the effort required is finite, the return on investment extraordinary and it needs to be done immediately. Like a regenerative house, a regenerative farm, regenerative energy, regenerative production all at scale, all distributed… and all of these are products. As such, they can be designed or even redesigned. Since we still live in a world of physical reality (we are not yet ethereal beings) - we must address the physical infrastructure. Then we can change the world.

The possibility is inclusive, purposeful, open collaboration. Join it.

The main point to start with is the possibility of solving all pressing world issues. It means, without qeustion - the 17 SDGs - solved througn an economic system that works for everyone. Well, that econ system is open collaborative design- a historic transfer of wealth from the few to the many, the end of war, poverty, corruption - and human frailty. Most people are still at the basic survival level. Even in the West - most people are not finding fulfillment in their jobs.

The promise is prosperity, starting with material prosperity. So we simply reinvent the entire infrastructure of civilization towards the common good. That means we get rid of all the structural evils, broken institutions - we know what the problems are - but we don’t have the tools to solve it.

So we redesign everything. From products to institutions.

Yeah, right, how do we shift the 100T economy overnight? By collaboration. A new pattern that works can replicate virally today. And it only takes a certain amount of effort - before a new product is created. If that product is livelihood without structural evil - that could work. It will only take $10M or so per product.

There are only so many fundamental hardware products. Like 50-500. So 500*10M is $5B. Then are all the institutions. That’s another $5B let’s say. So we redesign society for $10B. And we move on to prosperity.
