The third comes from building homes, which comes from cohorts of 24 studying intensively in an integrated fashion.

The flywheel revolves on a sound process for land acquisition, code check, groundbreaking construction, and sales. Favorable economics do not require extensive expenditure in marketing, which is replaced with education, edutainment, and edumarketing. All are intended to go beyond violent competition.

We take students on in so far as we have:

  • Instruction - 1000 pages of design-build blueprints and design in the form of Working Docs backed up by a pattern langage of CAD.
  • Collaborative Instruction - to learn, you teach. Cohorts of higher seniority immediately take on mentorship of others, to help their growth, by pairing up.
  • Global Collaboration - ongoing vlogging invites the global audience to managed online forums for continuous improvement and rapid, lifelong learning.
  • Enterprising Instruction - apprentices can teach an external audience for pay by organizing structured learning experiences in the Rapid Learning Facility. Blueprints are reviewed by the Enterprise Review Board.

New construction is facilitated by automated site-specific blueprint generation via FreeCAD and other open tools. This is also facilitated by strong R&D, in which apprentices serve a core function by Recursion as a product of collaborative design-build which focuses on data collection and continuous improvement.

For every cohort created, value is generated from house building. This allows the first cohort to mentor the second cohort, increasing to 48 person teams, at which point more instructors are hired or grown to take on leadership of new cohorts. Indeed, we promote growing talent in house, favoring leadership from within. Incentive is simple: much higher pay for individuals rising to leadership positions. This means:

  • A clear track of study and curriculum for growing in responsibility
  • Higher pay to incentivize the higher responsibility

As we create other instructors, we scale up to 10x, or 240 for the housing operation. We gradually diversify, to different house models, machines, recursion, energy, hydrogen fueling station, RLF in Every Town campaign.
