My name is Lion Kimbro, and I'm a friend of Sam Rose.
I will be more present later, when I get closer to actual construction.
But something came up in a conversation I thought might be of value to Open Source Ecology: Using snow construction to help train people.

Snow construction may be a great way for people to get into building.
- It can be done in a matter of hours.
- The variety of techniques seem to mirror the variety of techniques of building houses out of Earth.
- Quinzhee: make a mound, dig out of it
- Fort: grow up from the ground in packed layers
- Igloo: use bricks
- A complete (and useable!) structure can be made in hours
- It's challenging, ...
- ...but surmountable.
- It costs nothing.
- It can be done by instructions, you don't even necessarily need someone on hand to help.
Take care, Lion
