Visual Language Advantage

A picture is worth a thousand words. This means that information can be communicated much more rapidly in pictures, which can be recognized visually in an immediate way. Therefore, if we have a library of icons corresponding to aspects of any topic that we are communicating, then we can communicate this topic much more easily.

This can help to reduce the effort required to design anything, while allowing for much more complexity and sophistication in the design, this stems from our visual cortex being capable of processing more information than our logic centers just like a GPU in computers is more powerful than a CPU in certain ways.

Graphical language advantage can be used together with effective visual communication, effective spoken communication, and with effective organization of information such as via well-designed information architecture or hypertext as in wikis.

Learning how to learn would involve all of the above, and can be applied to solving pressing world issues, once a person gains sufficient self-actualization to become effective and to lead others. In the digital age we can translate such theoretical skill into added physical world impact by means of human controlled automation, digital fabrication, remote sensing, remote control, and other tools of translating ideas or algorithms into physical reality. The goal in the OSE context is mutually assured abundance, namely solving the basic needs of survival so that everybody can evolve to a higher purpose or self realization.

This week he contains visual pattern languages, part libraries, design guides and other resources that enable one to design effectively to translate this into reality, tools of automation and digital fabrication and computer aided control can disseminate all this wealth of know how to practical ends. We are well aware of various meta crisis issues and prospects of the singularity and resolving the Singularity Metacrisis Paradox is one of our goals
