- PE says j-bolts are not for uplift! [1]. Post-installed anchors are recommended. Agreed - in practice - as getting the J-bolts in correct during pressure time of pour is not easy if you ask people who do this for a living. Recommends threaded rod with Injection Adhesive or Anchoring Epoxy.
